Windsor Cycles is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead the store into its next chapter. Established in 1958, Windsor Cycles has been serving the Hawkesbury for nearly 70 years and is now looking for someone to continue the legacy and support the next generation of local bike riders.
The role
The Store Manager is responsible for all elements of store operations including
· Sales
· Bike maintenance and servicing
· Customer Service
· Promotions and Advertising
· Inventory Management
· Leading and supporting other team members
· Rostering
About You
An understanding of bike mechanics and previous retail management experience are a must. Formal training is not a prerequisite, but the successful candidate must be able to show they can run a store and fix a bike.
The role comes with a great deal of autonomy and decision-making responsibility so the ability to demonstrate previous experience of high performance without direct supervision will be highly valued.
The successful candidate will need to schedule their shifts to meet customer demand which means availability on weekends is a must. There is an expectation that the Store Manager will work at least one weekend day per week.
In addition to the above traits, the successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following
· A track record of performance in a retail leadership position responsible for meeting and exceeding KPI’s
· Good communication skills both written and verbal
· Proficiency with Point of Sale systems, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office programs.
· Experience working with budgets.
Most importantly, we want someone who is fun to work with, honest and hard working.

This role will appeal to someone who loves the freedom to make their own decisions. Performance will be assessed on the results but how you get their will be up to you. The Store Manager will have freedom to decide how to run the store including ranging, physical layout, advertising, process improvement, hiring and (hopefully not) firing, and anything they can demonstrate will make improvements to business performance and customer satisfaction.
Salary will be $70-80k annually based on the candidates’ previous experience. In addition to this, a 20% quarterly bonus will be paid for meeting revenue, profitability and customer goals. This means a yearly package of up to $105k (including superannuation)
