We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Centre Director/Nominated Supervisor to lead our dedicated team and continue fostering the warm, welcoming environment we’ve proudly built.

About the Role:
We are looking for a qualified Diploma or Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) who brings a positive attitude, strong leadership skills, and a genuine passion for early childhood education. The successful candidate will be kind, approachable, and committed to achieving the best outcomes for children, families, and educators.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and inspire a team of educators in providing high-quality care and education.

Build and maintain meaningful relationships with children, families, and the wider community.

Ensure the service complies with the National Quality Framework (NQF), relevant legislation, and Quality Standards.

Oversee daily operations, ensuring all administrative, safety, and regulatory requirements are met.

Foster a child-safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Support continuous improvement and maintain a culture of excellence.

Skills and Experience:

Strong knowledge of child development (ages 0–6 years).

In-depth understanding of Child Protection and Child Safe Standards.

Familiarity with current pedagogical approaches in early childhood education.

Sound understanding of the NQF, EYLF, and relevant legislation.

Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.

Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and time management skills.

Proven ability to maintain up to date documentation, risk assessments, emergency drills, and compliance checklists.

Strong commitment to children’s health, safety, and wellbeing.

Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

Required Qualifications and Certificates:

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)

Current First Aid/CPR Certificate

Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)

Current Child Protection Certificate

Current Child Safe Standards Training

Foundations of Safe Sleep Training Certificate

Food Handler/Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
