Their portfolio spans everything from stormwater and wastewater management to large-scale water transfer and treatment systems. Due to internal growth, they are now seeking a Project Sales Business Development Manager to join the team—reporting directly to the National Sales Manager. This is a strategic, outward-facing role for someone with big ambitions and a passion for shaping infrastructure. You’ll be out in the field, building relationships with key stakeholders and driving projects from concept to completion.
Your responsibilities will include:
Identifying and developing new business opportunities within the civil infrastructure sector
Managing and growing relationships with engineers, project managers, contractors, government departments, and local councils
Conducting site visits to assess project requirements and provide technical advice
Preparing and delivering technical presentations and proposals
Leading tender submissions and contract negotiations
Collaborating with internal engineering, service, and project teams to deliver tailored solutions
Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy
Representing the business at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
About You:
You’re a driven sales professional with a knack for building trust and credibility in technical environments. Your background could include selling mechanical solutions such as pumps, valves, water treatment systems, filtration, compressors, generators, flow meters, or other capital equipment into the civil, water, or infrastructure sectors. Maybe you started on the tools—plumbing, mechanical trades, or site-based roles—before moving into sales, or you’ve built your career selling to government, utilities, or major contractors.
You’ll stand out if you have:
Proven success in project-based or capital equipment sales
Experience working with civil contractors, water authorities, or local government
Strong technical aptitude and a consultative, solutions-focused approach
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
The ability to work autonomously and as part of a national team
A passion for seeing projects through from inception to delivery

Salary Expectations:
$115k - $135k + Super + Company Car + Commissions
