Our team are currently partnered with a leading Sydney-based commercial fitout company. Renowned for delivering high-quality office and workplace environments, our client is dynamic, design-driven, and experiencing strong growth. Due to continued organisational success, our client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business opportunities and further expand their presence across the Sydney market.
About The Role
As the Business Development Manager, you’ll play a key role in generating new opportunities and building long-term client relationships in the commercial fitout and interiors space. You’ll be the face of the business, identifying leads, presenting tailored solutions, and driving projects from initial contact through to conversion.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and convert new business opportunities in the office and commercial fitout sector
Establish strategic partnerships to ensure successful project delivery
Develop and manage a robust pipeline of leads across warm and cold prospects
Collaborate closely with internal teams (design, estimating, project delivery) to ensure aligned and seamless client experiences
About You
As the successful candidate for this role, you will be a confident communicator and natural networker with a passion for workspace solutions. You understand the pace and nuance of the fitout industry and know how to connect client needs with smart, functional design outcomes.
Additionally, you will bring:
Proven experience in commercial fitout sales and business development
A strong network within the Sydney property or workplace sector
Demonstrated track record of winning projects and building trusted client relationships
Exceptional presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Salary & Benefits
$90,000 to $110,000 + Super + Car Allowance + Commissions
