About the Role:
We’re on the lookout for a motivated, dedicated, and enthusiastic Trainee Scheduler/Estimator to join our dynamic Residential Building team based in Bibra Lake, WA. In this role, you’ll learn the ins and outs of project scheduling, estimation and pricing, while contributing to the success of our business through your positive attitude and strong work ethic. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is eager to develop in a hands-on, supported environment.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Trainee Scheduler/Estimator, you will receive training and support to perform the following duties:

Investigate and prepare pricing options based on client requests

Assist Supervisors with any queries or challenges

Prepare and manage client variations, ensuring smooth communication

Schedule job starts and manage job timelines

Create and distribute purchase orders for scheduled jobs

Prepare supervisor files, including purchase orders, subcontractor plans, and call forward sheets

Learn to read and understand architectural and engineering drawings for accurate quantification

Perform accurate take-offs from design sketches to full working drawings

Assist in preparing feasibility studies for potential projects

Draft Letters of Proposal, including detailed specifications

Create and maintain accurate sales estimates

Liaise with local councils, engineers, architects, suppliers, and clients to ensure all project details are accounted for

Review and vet supplier quotes and rates

Track timeframes and ensure deadlines are met

Contribute to various business functions as needed

Other tasks as required to support the team
