KTI operate locally and nationally to transport and deliver a range of local and interstate freight to and from our customer sites, ensuring our supplier and customer commitments are met safely and on schedule.
The successful applicant will need to be able to perform in a time-sensitive environment, and have exceptional customer service skills.
Tasks & responsibilities
Understand and ensure compliance with relevant South Australian, Victorian, Western Australian and Australian legislative requirements (Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards) across all Payroll and HR activities.
Maintaining employee records and provide HR administrative support to staff
Prepare and manage employment contracts, ensuring compliance with the Fair Work Act and applicable industrial instruments
Being a point of contact for HR & Payroll enquiries and providing guidance to employees
Processing weekly payroll for all company employees, including salary, superannuation, tax and other deductions
Preparing reports and documentation as required for Management
Ensure compliance with all states Workcover regulations, and process payments accordingly
Reconcile and processing of end of month and end of year payroll accounts, including Payroll Tax, Workcover etc
Complete and implement wage reviews in line with company guidelines
Being a part of recruitment activities including advertising roles, shortlisting candidates, managing pre-employment process
Identifying and contributing ideas and suggestions for continuous improvement
Ensuring the maintenance of compliance records such as police clearances, training records, medical, visa statuses
Required Skills and Experience
Payroll & HR experience is required
Prior experience with HR3 Ready Tech payroll package would be an advantage, as well as Wageloch timecard management system.
Sound computer knowledge with Libre office and Gmail systems
Accurate and attention to detail data entry
