This builder is synonymous with delivering quality projects via a professional well managed process. Their clients are predominantly ‘end users’, owners, institutions, and investors that require a quality project based on long term interest, or end user requirement. Typically, projects range from $20m - $60m and they have an array of strong blue-chip clients that award them repeat / negotiated work without having to tender in the open market.
WHAT'S ON OFFER
Opportunity to work with a first class up and coming builder who are delivering multi-unit residential projects in the medium density and high rise space. Our client is looking for a well connected BDM in the multi-unit residential space with a strong array of solid connections which they can bring to the table. This is a long-term hire for their business with huge scope to grow the company on the back of their name and the product they deliver. There will be an excellent salary / commission on offer and all the tools / systems in place to bring new work into this growing builder.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identification of new business opportunities and participation in the development and implementation of new growth strategies
- Development of strategic relationships with existing and new clients
- Researching target markets advising business accordingly of risk and opportunity
- Provide marketing direction and support in capturing genuine opportunities
- Coordination of the bid or tender process and providing strategic guidance in structuring the proposed solution
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Civil Engineering / Construction Degree and / or 10 years BDM experience in a Tier 2 or Tier 3 building business based in Sydney with an array of strong multi-unit residential contacts
- Superior presentation and communication skills with established relationships with Senior Executives of PM, QS, Architects and other related consultancy's
- Excellent business development and marketing skills
- Demonstrated background in strategic planning and submission preparation
- Strong relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills
