Your Purpose:
In this role, you’ll oversee the preparation and delivery of high-quality bookkeeping services, contribute to process improvements, and help shape the future direction of our expanding division. What You’ll Be Doing
In this key role, you’ll be at the heart of helping our clients gain clarity, control, and confidence in their finances. Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering exceptional client service by supporting businesses in effectively managing their financial operations
Performing end to end bookkeeping across a diverse client portfolio
Collaborating with our offshore team in the Philippines to ensure seamless service delivery
Managing bank and balance sheet account reconciliations with accuracy and attention to detail
Preparing and lodging monthly and quarterly IAS/BAS statements
Handling end-of-financial-year tasks, such as Workcover, STP finalisation and TPAR reporting
Communicating professionally with clients and liaising with relevant statutory bodies
Assisting in the training and development of junior team members
Ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of all services while building strong client relationships
Who We’re Looking For
We’re after more than just a skillset—we’re looking for someone who brings passion, initiative, and a genuine desire to make a difference. If you’re proactive, detail-driven, and love helping clients succeed, you’ll feel right at home here. Ideally, you’ll bring:
Hands-on experience managing multiple bookkeeping clients, including BAS and payroll processing
A bookkeeping or accounting qualification (preferred but not essential—experience counts!)
Proven client relationship management skills and the confidence to communicate effectively
A sharp eye for detail and a strong commitment to accuracy
Proficiency in Xero and confidence working across digital platforms
Solid reconciliation skills and a methodical approach to financial data
Flexibility and adaptability—you stay calm and focused when priorities shift
A solutions-focused mindset with a drive to find better ways of doing things
A collaborative spirit and a genuine interest in contributing to our values-led, team-first culture
