Robert Half is currently recruiting an experienced Senior Bookkeeper for our client in Melbourne's Northern Suburbs. This organisation is committed to excellence in the retail industry.

We are seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to join our clients finance team. As a Senior Bookkeeper you will be managing a high volume of clients and focusing on end-to-end accounts receivable.

The Role

- Crafting financial statements and comprehensive management reports for the executive leadership team with analytical insights
- Supervising monthly journal entries and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting and maintaining the integrity of balance sheet items.
- Formulating budgets and forecasts to drive the financial planning process.
- Managing cashflow to ensure optimal financial management.
- Preparing BAS and Tax returns.
- Overseeing payroll processing, including employee timesheets, superannuation, PAYG, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Handling rebate management, processing claims, and ensuring accurate accounting for rebate income.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.

Profile
