In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute across various functions within the Organisational Development, Change, and Inclusion team. The position may also involve providing advice and support to Department of Health divisions on a range of human resource matters, including—but not limited to—diversity and inclusion, flexible work arrangements, workplace adjustments, and support for employees affected by domestic and family violence.

What you'll do

  • Assist inclusion team to analyse data and complete reporting for the Equity and Diversity Audit.
  • Deliver education and awareness sessions on inclusion topics.
  • Understanding of public sector legislation, directives, policies, agreements and relevant employment frameworks that apply to Queensland Health.
  • Provide advice to internal stakeholders on best practice business processes to ensure consistency with the organisational direction.
  • Delivery of inclusion events and initiatives from planning to implementation and evaluation.

About you

We are searching for someone with:

  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills necessary to provide expert HR advice to stakeholders, produce quality submissions with presentations and facilitation of the same.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply project management methodologies and effectively use project management tools.
  • Demonstrated consultation and collaboration skills both within and outside the work unit, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment to resolve complex and sensitive problems.
  • Highly developed research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to complete work within agreed timeframes, manage competing priorities and ensure attention to detail.
