The People and Culture (P&C) team are on the lookout for a highly skilled and enthusiastic P&C Advisor to join their high performing and close-knit team.
A little bit about the role:
As the P&C Advisor you will provide a high level of support and accurate, timely HR advice to all areas of the business. This role has a strong emphasis on employee relations case management and coaching leaders on how to hold performance and conduct conversations, leading investigations when necessary, and ensuring compliance with employment legislation and modern awards to support consistent and effective people practices across Australia and New Zealand.
This position may be undertaken on either a full-time basis (38 hour per week) or part-time basis at a minimum of 22.8 hours per week. If you’re seeking a part time role, we’re open to discussing a work pattern that is most suitable for you.
- In collaboration with the P&C Business Partners, support and coach leaders in the response, management and investigation of employee grievances and other workplace matters, including the appropriate application of industrially sound disciplinary outcomes, and timely implementation of any local or organisational continuous improvement.
- Facilitate an exceptional employee experience and be a point of contact within the P&C team to provide advisory support for employees and managers, including general advice on employment matters and managing the resolution of HR related queries as well as Fair Work and modern award advice and interpretation.
- In consultation with managers, support with the drafting of formal documentation for performance management and conduct processes.
- Play a key role in the implementation and maintenance of P&C initiatives, projects, correspondence, training and other tasks as required.
- Support with the P&C reporting function, including but not limited to preparation, analysis and reporting of P&C metrics including, but not limited to, supporting the delivery of monthly and quarterly recruitment, people and WHS reporting.
- In conjunction with the Safety team, participate and provide advice in relation to workplace incidents and injuries as well as non work-related matters

- Experienced HR Advisor? With at least 1 years’ experience in a similar HR Advisor role, you're the HR expert we’ve been looking for!
- HR qualifications? If you’ve got a tertiary qualification in Human Resources, we’re thrilled to have you onboard!
- Know your employment law? A sound understanding of employment law and it’s application is a must!
- Employment Relations pro? You know how to navigate tricky conversations, resolve conflict, and keep things fair, balanced, and respectful – these are the skills we’re looking for!
- Compliance champion? You’re on top of modern awards, enterprise agreements, and Fair Work legislation, and you know how to put them into practice effectively. We need your expertise!
