About the role

Verlata Consulting is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our dynamic team in our Brisbane office. This full-time role will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions within the organisation, with a focus on supporting our growing workforce. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our company culture and people management practices.

What you'll be doing

Developing and implementing HR strategies to support the company's overall business objectives

Providing guidance and support to team leaders on all HR-related matters, including recruitment, performance management, and employee relations

Overseeing the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding

Ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations

Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing efficient HR systems and procedures

Promoting a positive, inclusive, and engaged company culture

Delivering HR-related training and development programs

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive HR initiatives

What we're looking for

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a generalist HR role, preferably within a professional services or consulting environment

Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels

Proven track record of successfully implementing HR programs and initiatives

Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Proficient in the use of HR information systems and data analysis

Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field
