Human Resources Administrator
- Permanent part-time or full-time opportunity, minimum of 30 hours per week (could be within school hours)
- Hybrid role working from our Head Office in Brisbane CBD (2 days per week) + work from home (2-3 days per week)
- Salary of $65-70k FTE + Super + PD Allowance
We are looking for a motivated and warm-natured Human Resources Administrator to deliver hands-on assistance across multiple stages of the employee lifecycle. This newly created role will play an important element in supporting positive candidate and employee experiences here at Axis. You will be provided with all the support and development required to be successful in your role, with flexible working available. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Human Resources Administrator to join a caring and close-knit HR team in a growing organisation that makes a meaningful impact to employees and employers across Australia!
In this role you will:
- Support with recruitment efforts including posting job advertisements, shortlisting and conducting phone screens and booking interviews
- Assist with fortnightly payroll administration including processing reimbursements, travel logs etc
- Coordinate and execute the onboarding and offboarding processes across the HR, IT and Administration teams
- Manage the HR and Careers inboxes, including triaging queries to relevant HR team members and responding to general queries
- Accurately enter and maintain relevant information across systems including our HRIS (Elmo), payroll and Microsoft 365
- Support with HR activities, policies and procedures as required
- Participate in and contribute to a strong team culture across the Axis team, both locally and interstate

You will bring the following:
- At least 1 years’ experience in Human Resources or Talent/Recruitment Administrator role
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage professionally and effectively with candidates over the phone to assess suitability and build rapport
- Ability to handle sensitive situations and information with professionalism, confidentiality and discretion
- An eye for detail and able to work at pace with changing priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and ability to pick up new systems, experience working in HRIS is a plus!
- Ability to work in a close-knit team environment as well as autonomously
