The Opportunity
We are partnering with QPT to recruit a permanent full-time Senior HR Business Partner within the People and Culture team. This role offers the opportunity to influence, advise and deliver high-level HR strategies that support an empowered, engaged and capable workforce.
You’ll work closely with a small, collaborative HR team and report directly to the Principal HR Business Partner, providing expert advice on industrial relations, performance, policy, case management and organisational change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and operational HR advice across a diverse government workforce;
- Lead and manage complex case management, employment and industrial matters;
- Develop and review HR policy, procedures, and workforce strategy initiatives;
- Collaborate with leaders on workforce planning and succession management; and
- Contribute to key projects that support employee engagement and cultural change.
Required Experience
We are seeking a driven and experienced HR generalist with strong capabilities in employee relations and stakeholder engagement, ideally gained in a complex or regulated environment.
You will bring:
- Experience in HR advisory, case management and workforce planning;
- Sound knowledge of Queensland public sector employment legislation;
- Strong stakeholder relationship skills with a solutions-focused approach;
- Ability to influence, guide and coach managers through sensitive issues; and
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR, industrial relations or related fields (highly regarded).
