The Opportunity

With a proud 60-year history, this Tier 2 national construction company has built a reputation for delivering groundbreaking, award winning projects across high-profile sectors such as health, education, aged care, hospitality, and retail up to $100M.

As the South Australian division continues to expand—now with a team of 50—they are looking to appoint a Senior Estimator to lead strategic bids and work closely with the Estimating Manager in a pivotal leadership capacity.

The Role

You will take ownership of the estimating process for high-value, multi-sector projects. Your expertise will shape project success from the earliest stage, working with a highly experienced team that values quality, insight, and commercial intelligence.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading tender submissions for projects up to $100M
• Providing detailed and strategic cost planning and value analysis
• Preparing and managing bills of quantities, take-offs, and scope breakdowns
• Coordinating and negotiating with subcontractors and consultants
• Contributing to project risk assessments, commercial strategy, and planning
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members to build capability
• Collaborating closely with internal leadership and external stakeholders

The Like Mind

You are an Estimator with 6+ years of experience within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 commercial construction environment, underpinned by relevant tertiary qualifications. You bring a strategic and analytical mindset, strong commercial acumen, and the confidence to take ownership of major tenders. Your ability to lead, influence, and build relationships across the business and with external partners will ensure success in this senior leadership role.
