About The Role
As the Business Development Manager, you’ll be the face of the business in your territory — identifying and closing new opportunities while growing and servicing existing accounts. You’ll work closely with safety officers, site managers, and procurement teams to deliver solutions that meet strict OH&S and compliance needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, qualify, and win new business across construction, warehousing, manufacturing, and civil sectors
Manage a portfolio of trade accounts, growing revenue through regular engagement
Present PPE solutions that meet safety, compliance, and cost objectives
Conduct site visits, toolbox talks, and product demos
Collaborate with internal ops and procurement teams to ensure on-time delivery
Represent the brand at safety expos, trade shows, and industry events
About You
As the successful candidate for this role, you will be an enthusiastic and results-driven sales professional with a proven track record in B2B sales. You excel at building strong relationships and can quickly identify customer needs and deliver tailored safety solutions that ensure compliance and protect workforces. Your proactive, consultative approach and ability to manage multiple accounts will drive real business growth and long-term client loyalty.
Additionally, you will bring:
Demonstrated B2B sales experience (PPE, safety, tools, workwear, or trade supplies ideal)
A "hunter" mentality with strong relationship-building skills
Understanding of construction or industrial environments
Comfortable on site and in boardrooms — you can speak to safety officers and procurement teams alike
Self-motivated, reliable, and well-organised with great follow-through
Salary & Benefits
$80,000 to $95,000 + Super + Car Allowance + Commissions
