About Mawarnkarra Health Service (MHS)
Mawarnkarra (MHS) is the largest primary health care provider providing direct services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples living in the Roebourne area. MHS provides the families of Roebourne with a fully functional and accredited Clinic that treats approximately 3,000 people per year.

The Position
The role of the Executive Assistant is to support the CEO and Board of Directors in the provision of high level professional secretarial and administrative services.
The incumbent will provide key operational support and coordination in areas such as administration; secretariat support; organizational functions and events; management of social media accounts and holistic business support.

The Requirements
Proven experience as an Executive Assistant with 3-5 years’ experience, with the ability to provide achievements and examples in detail.
Demonstrable experience in the provision of strong administrative and secretariat support at a senior/executive level, including the ability to take minutes.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion at all times.
Highly developed written communication skills including the ability to write clearly and concisely, prepare written reports and manage the output of quality information.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to multi-task, and maintain composure under pressure in a fast-paced environment, while meeting strict deadlines.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Package Software including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
An ability to work within a small but dynamic team, and autonomously as required.
Ability to show initiative and determine priorities.
Demonstrated ability to uphold the principles of cultural safety including an ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
Other Requirements
Consent to undergo a Western Australian Working With Children Check and a National Police Certificate. Employment is conditional pending the outcome of these checks.
Must hold a current Australian Drivers Licence
Current CPR Certificate
All employees are subject to regular random drug and alcohol screening.
Attend and participate in the professional development program and relevant external seminars and conferences, as approved
Remuneration Benefits include:
Salary of $106,986 - $110,042 p/a
Plus 11.5% Superannuation
Housing and District allowances (subject to eligibility)
Full Time 12-month parental leave position, Monday to Friday.
