We’re on the hunt for an experienced Talent Acquisition/Recruitment Specialist to join our small HR team. Reporting directly to the HR Director Sonova Audiological Care, this role is based in our modern new office in North Sydney, and we offer a hybrid work model.

As part of the Sonova Group, Sonova Audiological Care Australia, has two client facing brands Connect Hearing and Neurosensory, and over 550 talented team members. We seek an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of Australians, values driven and keen to deliver best practice in talent acquisition. What will you be doing?
High-volume end to end recruitment for our clinic-based customer service roles including sourcing, shortlisting, screening, assessments and interviews to evaluate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit
Proactively source candidates through a variety of sourcing channels and methods, including online platforms, social media, networking, and direct sourcing
Ensure a seamless, positive and efficient candidate experience
Collaborate closely with the HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers to understand their talent needs, ensuring a positive experience for both Hiring Managers and Candidates and providing coaching when necessary
Weekly and monthly reporting on open and filled vacancies and recruitment KPIs
Proactively build and maintain a talent pipeline, nurturing relationships with potential candidates for current and future openings
Execute end-to-end talent acquisition strategies aligning with the organisation's objectives
Contribute to or lead projects to enhance the organisation’s employer brand and recruitment initiatives
What do you need to be successful in this role?
Prior experience in end-to-end volume recruitment with a proven track record in delivering successful and sustainable outcomes in a fast-paced environment essential
Experience in retail or allied health support roles desirable
Proficiency in utilising applicant tracking systems (ATS), HR software, and other recruitment tools
Ability to proactively source candidates through different channels and to build and manage talent pools
A genuine desire to provide a first-class candidate experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
Solution-oriented mindset, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field desirable
