Talent Acquisition Specialist | Located at our newly built Oak Flats office

Join a 2024 award-winning Illawarra-based organisation celebrated for Excellence in Workplace Culture, Large Business, and Business of the Year.

We’re looking for someone who’s not just skilled in recruitment, but truly passionate about people. You’re the kind of person who builds trust quickly, communicates with clarity and warmth, and thrives on creating great experiences for both candidates and hiring managers. You bring energy, insight, and professionalism to every stage of the hiring process, and you're always looking for ways to improve and innovate. If you're proactive, organised, and ready to be part of a workplace that values collaboration, inclusion and making a genuine difference in the lives of older people, then this could be the perfect role for you.

About Warrigal

At Warrigal, our vision is simple yet profound: to create a world where older people feel known, loved, and connected. Our values – Integrity, Respect, Innovation and Compassion - guide our approach and purpose—Enabling older people live their best lives on their terms. We’re dedicated to providing dignity, community, and belonging to all older people.

We believe in creating joyful experiences, lasting memories, and a society that celebrates aging. Every team member at Warrigal contributes to this legacy, ensuring it continues to inspire generations to come.

The opportunity

You will play a key role in attracting top talent and ensuring a seamless recruitment process at Warrigal. As a trusted partner to hiring managers and P&C Business Partners, you’ll work closely to understand their needs and deliver tailored recruitment solutions that help reduce agency reliance and support a more stable, engaged workforce.

In this role, you will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and headhunting to designing fair and inclusive interview processes and negotiating offers. Your ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders will ensure a smooth and positive experience for both candidates and managers.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll be managing everything from day-to-day recruitment admin and onboarding to building strong relationships with hiring managers and guiding them through the recruitment process. You’ll also have the opportunity to support and mentor Recruitment Officers to ensure a seamless, client-focused service.

Based at Warrigal Central Oak Flats, you will have the opportunity to travel to various sites, including the Southern Highlands, ACT, Goulburn, and Queanbeyan.

This is a 2-year fixed-term contract with the chance to make a lasting impact on Warrigal’s workforce and recruitment processes.

A supportive, passionate culture: It’s a community filled with inspiring, big-hearted people. We back each other, listen without judgement and lead with kindness, respect and unwavering support - for our customers, residents and each other. This is encouraged from the top down and worked hard at – every day.

Leaders who value you: It’s important you feel valued. To us, this is not a one-off task. But a commitment to creating an environment where you feel seen, heard and valued – every day. Leaders and managers go out of their way to understand you, respect your opinions and hear what you have to say. This creates greater unity and collaboration with each other.

Who we are | A community who cares

Warrigal has firmly established itself in the aged care community for over 60 years. We’re proud of the diverse range of retirement living and aged care services we’ve built up in that time, but we still have the same appetite to grow and innovate. Meaning, you’ll have the chance to move around, get promoted or explore different areas across our expanding business in Illawarra, Southern Highlands, Queanbeyan, and Canberra – if that’s what you want.

Do work that matters to you

This is your chance to do work that matters, and make a meaningful difference to the lives of Australia’s older community – now and in the future.

JOIN US AND BE THE DIFFERENCE

We encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander people, workers of all abilities, ages and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds to apply and join our community.

Are you keen? Then don’t delay applying. We review applications as we get them and will close the vacancy once we find the right person.

Got questions? You can contact [email protected] but please don’t send applications through email – we can’t accept them.
