THE OPPORTUNITY
Salary: $82.01 - $88.60 p/h + 11.5% super.
Location: Moorabbin Campus.
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
Position Status: Casual appointment.
Holmesglen’s Building, Construction Design and Electrotechnology Department is looking for an enthusiastic teacher to help shape the next generation of electrical apprentices.
Bring your industry experience into the classroom and support students to build their skills and careers. You’ll be involved in teaching, assessing, creating resources, and working closely with industry partners.
As a collaborative team member, you will participate in course coordination activities, delivering outstanding customer service to support the department's operations and enhance student learning outcomes. Be part of a supportive team that values collaboration, quality teaching, and great student outcomes.
ABOUT YOU
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE 40122 or equivalent predecessor or successor qualifications.
- An approved degree or diploma in a relevant vocational area, or approved equivalent qualifications, at least to the level being delivered and assessed.
- Current licences necessary to practice, or registration and/or membership of a relevant industry association where applicable.
- Demonstrated experience as a teacher of vocational and/or higher education and training programs.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills essential for effective teaching.
- Ability to function autonomously, work independently and/or coordinate work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
