About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Locksmithing Teacher to join our team at Melbourne Polytechnic in Heidelberg. This is a casual position, offering the flexibility to work as needed to support our Vocational Education and Training programs.
What you'll be doing
Delivering high-quality locksmithing instruction to our students
Developing and updating course materials to ensure relevant and engaging content
Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
Maintaining a safe and productive learning environment
Collaborating with the wider teaching team to continuously improve our programs
What we're looking for
Extensive experience as a qualified locksmith, with a strong understanding of the latest tools, techniques and industry practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and inspire students
A passion for education and a commitment to helping students develop the skills they need to succeed
Relevant teaching qualifications or a willingness to obtain them
Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively in a casual, as-needed capacity
