About the role

Melbourne Polytechnic is seeking a passionate and experienced Teacher to join our team and deliver high-quality training in High-Risk Work, Scaffolding, and Elevated Work Platforms. As a Casual Teacher, you will play a crucial role in educating and preparing students for careers in these specialised fields. The position is based in our Epping campus.

What you'll be doing

Designing and delivering engaging, industry-relevant theory and practical lessons to students

Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to support their learning

Staying up-to-date with industry regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure course content is current

Contributing to the continuous improvement of training programs and resources

Maintaining accurate student records and completing administrative tasks as required

What we're looking for

Demonstrated experience as a teacher in High-Risk Work, Scaffolding, or Elevated Work Platforms

Excellent technical knowledge and practical skills in your area of specialisation

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students

A passion for education and a commitment to student success

Relevant tertiary qualifications or industry certifications

Current Victorian teacher registration or the ability to obtain it
