Electrical Switchboard Estimator / Project Coordinator

Location: Maddington - full time permanent role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Electrical Switchboard Estimator / Project Coordinator to join our clients team. Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Delivery

Manage electrical switchboard projects from estimation through to delivery, ensuring DIFOTOB (Delivery In Full, On Time, On Budget).

Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to define project requirements and ensure alignment throughout the lifecycle.

Assist Workshop Managers with the execution of project plans and production scheduling.

Oversee compliance with contract terms and manage documentation such as contracts, permits, reports, and change orders.

Perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and quality checks to ensure all outputs meet Australian standards (AS/NZS 3000, 3008, WAER, AS61439).

Mitigate risks by identifying issues early and implementing effective strategies.

Estimation & Administrative Support

Prepare accurate quotes by sourcing and managing supplier quotations and coordinating pricing for all required components.

Compile job packs and manage documentation to ensure accurate, timely communication with stakeholders.

Provide administrative support to ensure all records are organised, accurate, and audit-ready.

Support project teams with scheduling, resource allocation, and team coordination.

What You’ll Bring

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or a related field.

Electrical trade qualifications or certifications (WA Electrical Worker’s Licence or Electrical Engineer).

Proven experience in electrical project coordination, estimation, or construction project support.

Skills & Attributes

Strong understanding of electrical and switchboard standards and compliance requirements.

Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, and project management software.

Exceptional time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

High attention to detail, organisation, and reliability.

Team-oriented with a proactive, can-do attitude aligned with the Group’s values.

Physical Requirements

This role requires medium physical exertion – the ability to lift or move up to 15kg regularly.
