Continuous Improvement Coordinator – Successful Manufacturing Company – Mining

A global company, who focuses on the mining sector, are looking for a proactive and hands-on Coordinator to lead the transformation of an industrial workspace—making it safer, more organised, and highly productive.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in manufacturing or production environments and has an understanding of 5S principles - Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardise, Sustain.

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll be the person on the shop floor, liaising with the crew and the leading hands to understand what changes they would like to make in the Sort (reduction of unnecessary items) and Set in Order (put items in the most utilisable place) phase and relaying this back to the leadership team.

Additionally, you will be the person on the floor monitoring progress, and ensuring teams are on schedule with the roll out - this means you're going to need at times be assertive and resilient, but at the same time amiable and build relationships with the crew.

What we’re looking for:

Someone with an understanding of 5S, ideally in a manufacturing environment.

A collaborative, engaging personality who can gather ideas, set expectations, and report on progress.

Ideally, a background in industrial engineering / an engineer.
