About the Role:
WorkPac is seeking an enthusiastic and driven HR Coordinator to join our leading mining client in East Perth. The HR Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the wider HR team with administrative and coordination responsibilities, providing critical executive-level support while helping drive cultural improvements across the business. This role is available for a 3 month duration on a Monday to Friday roster.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide executive support to HR leadership, including workshop coordination, and administrative tasks.
Assist the wider HR team in responding to actionable items from an employee engagement survey, with a focus on improving workplace culture.
Coordinate internal workshops and events with minimal notice, ensuring materials are prepared and logistics are managed efficiently.
Support recruitment admin such as scheduling interviews, booking medicals, and conducting reference checks.
Collaborate within the HR team to ensure seamless communication and execution of tasks aligned to broader people and culture initiatives.
Work autonomously and manage multiple priorities with limited instruction or supervision.
Apply critical thinking to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Skills & Experience Required:
Demonstrated experience in a similar role, ideally within a People & Culture or HR environment
Exceptional people management, communication, and problem-solving skills
Strong organisational abilities with a proven track record of managing competing priorities independently
High-energy, adaptable individual who thrives in fast-paced or evolving environments
Proficient in the use of information systems and technology
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field are advantageous but not essential
