About the Client:
Our client is a values-driven provider of diversified engineering, construction, and maintenance services, delivering projects safely across Western Australia in the resources, public infrastructure, and agriculture sectors. About the Role:
WorkPac is currently in search of a HSE coordinator to join our esteemed client's team based in Perth. This position is based on a Monday to Friday roster, full time hours.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare health and safety documents for tenders and project start-ups.
Support the HSE Lead with reporting, document updates, and general assistance.
Provide weekly/monthly safety reports (including lead/lag indicators) for projects.
Assist site-based HSE Advisors and attend site visits when required.
Conduct safety inspections, toolbox talks, and site inductions.
Deliver safety training and ensure compliance with safety systems on site.
Liaise with site supervisors to manage risks, hazards, and promote a safe work culture.
Skills and Experience:
At least 2 years’ experience in construction or mining, preferably both.
Familiarity with major mining clients (RTIO, FMG, BHP) and their safety systems.
Strong understanding of WA health and safety legislation and workplace practices.
Skilled in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
Experience with incident investigations, training delivery, and running safety workshops.
