As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a skilled Hotel Service Manager to lead our service delivery operations and elevate the guest experience, reporting to the Head of Operations.
About the Role
As the Service Manager based at our South Brisbane Head Office, you’ll play a key leadership role in supervising and coordinating hospitality service workers. This includes overseeing contractor service functions, commercial housekeeping, and guest service operations. You'll ensure high-quality service standards are maintained while managing team schedules, resolving issues, and collaborating with other departments.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of hospitality service workers including commercial housekeepers, all-rounders, and contractors.
Manage work allocation, attendance records, rosters, and staffing requirements.
Lead and support service operations, including guest check-in and check-out procedures.
Monitor service quality and implement improvements where necessary.
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
Address employee concerns and ensure positive team morale.
Liaise with other managers to coordinate cross-functional operations.
Undertake additional duties as required by management.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience in a hotel or property operations environment in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
Strong leadership, organisational, and team coordination abilities.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with front office systems and hospitality service standards.
Sound understanding of WHS regulations and service quality frameworks.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have one of the following:
Current or on-going hospitality qualification or a related field,
At least two years of on-the-job training or relevant work experience at a comparable skill level.
