We are an established boutique Facility Management company managing various different portfolios within the Melbourne Metro area. We are currently looking to invite new members into our organization to be entrusted with a Building Coordinator (Junior) role within one of the residential property portfolio that we are managing.
2 x Full-Time positions are up for grab (dedicated Morning or Afternoon) to manage this thriving, busy, and challenging property. The successful candidates will be working directly under a senior manager and an established workplace (where policies & procedures are in existence).
As a Coordinator, successful candidates will be expected to be able to deliver a high level of personalized, professional and positive service at all times to all residents and visitors/guests. You are expected to handle the day to day operation of the property which focuses on obtaining timely resolutions on various matters relating to the building (this may include maintenance issues, administration duties such as facility bookings, parking enforcement and key management)
You will also engage with a wide-variety of external contractors that attends to the property to carry out maintenance/repair works for the Owners Corporation and to carry out a quality control measures to their work. You will also be responsible in the verification of Invoices for the works to ensure that it has been completed in an acceptable manner before the final payment is to be released.
Fluent in English (Written & Oral) - Additional language would be a plus (Mandarin)
Skillful in managing & executing conversation with various stakeholders and to act accordingly (de-escalation of situation, directing residents/clients, and to lead various discussion towards a positive outcome)
Skilled in operating MS Office, Competent & comfortable in learning and operating various building software/apps (Security, CCTV monitoring, lift monitoring, communication portal, etc.)
Possess a "Take Ownership" attitude on challenges/issues that may arise at work and to have the perseverance to resolve them with the support received from the Senior Manager (and the head office)
Possess full-working rights (no limitation on Hours)
Candidates with prior Hospitality and/or Facility Management background would be preferred
Candidates will be required to submit a most-recent police check for the role
The selected candidate will have an opportunity to learn from a seasoned manager in the thriving & resilient Facility Management Industry. The knowledge that could be obtained from this position would equip successful candidate to be able to step up into a more senior role within the organization (or the industry).
