About the role

As a Retail Supervisor in Bottleshop at PGH Group, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our busy bottleshop in Lauderdale, Hobart. This full-time position is instrumental in ensuring excellent customer service and efficient store management within our retail division.

What you'll be doing

Supervise and coordinate the work of retail sales associates to provide a superior shopping experience

Oversee inventory management, product merchandising, and store presentation to drive sales

Effectively communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide recommendations

Handle cash handling, banking, and store administration tasks

Lead and motivate the team to achieve individual and store-level sales targets

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency

What we're looking for

Proven experience in a retail supervisor or team leader role, preferably in the liquor or hospitality industry

Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills

Ability to effectively manage inventory, merchandising, and cash handling procedures

Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team

Proficient in using retail management systems and point-of-sale technology

Flexible working attitude and willingness to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
