Retail & Sales Assistant – PoolMasters (Sandy Bay, Hobart)

Position available for an immediate start.

PoolMasters Hobart is expanding – and we’re building more than just pools. As we grow our pool building, servicing, and retail operation, we’re looking for a reliable, friendly, and adaptable team member to join us at our Sandy Bay store.

This role focuses on in-store customer support – especially helping with water testing, chemical advice, and guiding customers to the right products. You won’t be closing big sales like pools or spas, but you’ll play a key part in assisting with product enquiries and keeping the store running smoothly.

What you’ll be doing:
Assisting customers in-store with general advice and product enquiries
Performing water tests and explaining the results clearly
Learning and supporting our range of pool chemicals and products
Assisting with sales of pool accessories, chemicals, and consumables
Answering phone calls and responding to emails
Keeping the shop tidy, organised, and welcoming

We’re looking for someone who:
Has strong communication skills and enjoys helping people
Is friendly, reliable, and quick to learn Is comfortable using computers and following simple systems
Has experience in retail, sales, or pool care (a bonus, not essential)
Can work both independently and alongside others
