Assistant Cropping and livestock Manager Position.

Were seeking a capable, professional and value driven assistant farm manager to assit in leading and working in a large scale mixed Family owned farming buisness. This Local farming enterprise is situated in the Wellington Shire region located 15 minutes from Sale and minutes from picturesque 90 mile coast line.

Experience required to operate and work in both cropping and livestock, must be competent in operating machinery and working with sheep and cattle.

The successful applicant will need to have experience with cropping and fodder including the operation of cultivation, sowing, spraying, harvesting and crop monitoring, or a desire to learn. They will also need experience in animal husbandry, handling livestock, excellent record keeping skills and posses good working dogs.

This is a hands on role with the applicant requiring excellent attention to detail and time management skills, in conjunction with an outstanding work ethic!

There is a lot of scope for expansion within this role and a lot of on job training available. Ideally the applicant will hold a HR licence, or be willing to obtain one.

The ideal candidate should be

- Be confident, and collabrotive leader, self motivating and be a positive team member

- Have experience with livestock

- Have experience with machinery and an understanding with cropping and a desire to learn

- Be passionate about agriculture

- Have working dogs

- Fencing experience

- HR license

An attractive remuneration package is available based on experience, including a 3 bedroom house and a work vehicle.
