At Busy Bees at Carrum Downs, we’re looking for a confident and experienced Assistant Service Manager (2IC) to support the Centre Director in leading our 91-place service with integrity, quality, and care.

About the Role

As a 2IC, you will:

Support the Centre Director with daily operations, compliance, and team management

Step into the Centre Director’s role when required

Mentor and guide educators to deliver high-quality programs aligned with the EYLF

Build and maintain strong relationships with families, children, and the community

Ensure the centre meets NQS, regulatory, and safety standards

Foster a collaborative and positive team environment

What You’ll Need

Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved)

Current Working with Children Check (Employee)

First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training (HLTAID012 or equivalent)

Child Protection / Mandatory Reporting certificate

Previous experience as a Lead Educator or Assistant Manager (2IC)

Strong leadership, time management, and communication skills

A genuine passion for early learning and empowering others
