As the Assistant Warehouse Manager, you will be instrumental in daily operations, from planning and organising workflows and supervising the loading/unloading of trucks and containers, to maintaining precise inventory control through cycle counts and system management. A key part of your role will be to assist in leading and motivating the warehouse team, fostering a positive and collaborative environment while ensuring all staff adhere to company policies and stringent Work Health and Safety (WHS) regulations, with a particular focus on safe tyre handling and storage. Your proactive approach to problem-solving and process optimisation will be vital as you deputise for the Warehouse Manager when needed and contribute to our culture of continuous improvement.

To be successful in this role, you will bring a minimum of 5 years' experience in a warehouse or distribution centre environment, coupled with demonstrated team management capabilities. A current Forklift and Driver's Licence are essential, alongside a solid working knowledge of WHS legislation and best practices. Your excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills, along with proven experience using inventory management systems, will set you up for success.
