We're working with a leading Australian-owned residential builder known for their quality work in NDIS, wholesale, and custom construction. With ongoing growth and a strong team culture, they're looking for an experienced Accounts Officer to take charge of daily financial operations and ensure accurate, timely transaction processing.

As the Accounts Officer, you'll manage the day-to-day flow of accounts with a hands-on approach and an eye for detail.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing invoices, expenses, and payments, adhering to policies and terms.
• Reconciling supplier statements and maintaining vendor records.
• Following up on outstanding payments and addressing customer queries.
• Conducting routine account reconciliations.
• Producing reports on payables, receivables, and cash flow.
• Assisting with month-end closing, audits, and legal compliance.
• Collaborating with the finance team to enhance processes.

The successful candidate will display:

• Experience in a similar Accounts Payable / Receivable role
• Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or similar
• Sound knowledge of Australian accounting standards
• Proficiency with software like Xero, Evolve, and Microsoft Office
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
