Role Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable

Reconciling bank entries, Amex feeds, Stripe transactions

Contacting outstanding debtors for payment

Receipting debtor payments via bank accounts & EFTPOS

Addressing any customer enquiries regarding debt issues

Submitting debt write off recommendations to management

Organizing external debt collection activities when required

Completing & submitting debtor reports to management when required

Accounts Payable

Clearing supplier invoices from email inbox and entering into Xero

Reconcile supplier invoices to PO and allocate invoices to correct jobs

Respond to accounts payable enquiries from suppliers

Communicate with suppliers regarding credit notes and discrepancies

Reconcile supplier statement with invoices

Onboard new suppliers

Payroll

Collect and reconcile over time approvals for processing

Collect employee reimbursements and insert into Xero

Complete weekly payroll for approval by Finance Manager

Other Activities

Daily bank reconciliations

GL account reconciliation at month end

Assist Finance Manager

Experience & Capabilities

Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar or more senior role

Proficient in using Xero and Microsoft Office software

Understanding of general accounting principles & Australian accounting standards

Good verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work autonomously, solve problems

Great communication skills (verbal and written)
