Two Opportunities Available: Kew & Melbourne CBD

Join two well-established law firms seeking experienced Accounts Officers to manage their financial operations. Both positions offer immediate starts and competitive remuneration.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.

Manage end-to-end payroll processing.

Perform reconciliations and journal entries.

Handle month-end procedures and reporting.

Prepare and lodge BAS, Payroll Tax, PAYG, and other statutory tax requirements.

Conduct banking activities.

Process trust account receipts and payments.

Engage in data entry, management, and analysis.

Assist with various tasks and projects as needed.

About You:

3-4 years' experience in a similar role.

Strong attention to detail and process orientation.

Proficiency in Xero, Excel, and Microsoft Office.

Understanding of accounting practices and GST.

Experience in the legal industry with trust accounting knowledge is highly regarded.
