Job Title: Working Site Foreman Carpenter – Remote NT Projects
Location: Darwin-based + Remote NT
Job Type: Full-Time

SLS Builders is on the hunt for a skilled, hands-on Site Foreman Carpenter to lead construction projects across the Northern Territory. We’re not your average builder – we take on remote jobs that cover everything from demolition and civil to carpentry, roofing, concreting, welding, transport and more.

We also operate our own plane for flying in and out of remote sites when needed.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Lead and work alongside a crew of carpenters, labourers and following trades

Read plans, set out sites, and keep builds moving

Operate machines, trucks, and gear as needed (we’ll help with tickets!) (not essential)

Solve problems on the fly and get the job done right

Keep the team safe, on task, and up to standard

Liaise with clients and project managers where needed

What We’re Looking For:

Qualified carpenter with strong hands-on experience

Confident leading crews – especially in remote or outback settings

Solid civil and building knowledge (commercial/residential)

Good with plans and practical decision-making

Machine ops or truck experience is a plus (tickets can be provided)

Safety-focused and ready to take the lead
