Our continued growth has created an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Civil Supervisor or Site Foreman to join our team, particularly for high-profile zone substation projects.

About the Role

We are seeking a Civil Supervisor or Site Foreman to oversee and support the day-to-day operations of our civil teams on critical infrastructure projects, including those in zone substations. This role suits a highly skilled and safety-focused individual with demonstrated leadership capabilities and the technical expertise to deliver projects to specification.

Qualifications & Experience Required

Minimum Certificate III in Civil Construction or Construction Management (or higher)

Minimum 3–5 years' experience in civil construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leading hand role

Proven zone substation project experience (essential)

Clerk of Works experience (preferred) with strong ability to assess and report on site compliance, workmanship, and progress

Current driver’s license and Construction White Card

HR Truck License (preferred)

Ausgrid Pegasus Training – current

Sound working knowledge of WHS and Electrical Supply Industry regulations

Confident in reading and interpreting plans, SWMS, and technical specifications

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and lead civil crews performing trenching, conduit installation, backfilling, and restoration works

Ensure daily operations comply with WHS, environmental, and quality standards

Liaise with project managers, electrical supervisors, clients, and authorities

Conduct daily pre-starts, toolboxes, and site safety audits

Coordinate plant, materials, and subcontractors to maintain productivity

Maintain accurate site documentation, including daily diaries and progress reports

Monitor project quality and assist with QA documentation

Act as site contact during inspections, particularly for Clerk of Works interactions
