This is hands-on role where you will be in charge of the safe and timely completion of Irritek installation projects and overseeing everything and everyone on the job site.

We are seeking someone with on-ground civil experience, strong communication skills and experience in trade, labouring or machine operation on project sites.

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

Practical experience in trade, labouring, or machine operation on project sites, with a minimum of 3 years of on-ground civil experience required.

Experience in site management and/or supervision of civil jobs, particularly in set out and laying concrete slabs, pipe-laying, and construction is desirable.

Construction or manufacturing trade or qualifications in engineering/construction management would be favourable.

Experience working in high risk and safety driven work environments.

IT literacy including use of computers and handheld devices.

Ability to interpret project 3D plans.

Attention to detail, teamwork, good communication, strong customer service and problem-solving skills.

Leadership ability and experience.

Drivers Licence, Construction White Card, High Risk Work ticket and experience.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Manage all sight crew members on site and any contractors.

Ensure everyone on the site complies with health & safety regulations and Irritek safe operating procedures. Maintain PPE requirements at all times.

Conduct site inspections identifying and mitigating potential hazards.

Set out project site including levels, concrete slab preparation and safety zone signage.

Develop excavation plan with plant operators.

Handle onsite incidents in accordance with incident response protocols.

Conduct daily toolbox meetings to set out daily work plan.

Supervise tradesmen and labouring work in accordance with daily and project plans to meet deadlines.

Verify work techniques are correct and safe.

Manage project workload with Operations Manager.

Maintain site log and record of personal attendance.

Liase with project client.

Manage deliveries of materials and supplies to project site.

Complete daily safety records, check site crew timesheets and daily/weekly project progress checklist.

Working conditions - Irritek Project Sites are on agricultural properties in regional NSW and Queensland with projects emerging in NT & WA.
