An established civil contractor is seeking an experienced Earthworks Foreman to oversee site operations on a mid-sized earthworks project based in the Gold Coast region.

This role will suit a hands-on, experienced leader who can coordinate a small crew and ensure high-quality outcomes across all aspects of the job. The position offers stable work over the coming months, with support from a reliable team and a straightforward site setup.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily site activities and manage a crew of 4-6 operators

Oversee excavation and general earthworks

Maintain adherence to safety standards and project timelines

Communicate effectively with management and trades on site

Ensure quality control and efficient progress across assigned works

Requirements:

Proven experience in a Foreman or leading hand role within civil construction

Strong background in earthworks, particularly excavations

Confident in supervising teams and coordinating daily site tasks

Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work autonomously

Relevant tickets/licenses are required for this position.
