Full Time Qualified Carpenter

Lifestyle Constructions NQ Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time, trade-qualified carpenter with a minimum of two years of post-qualification experience to join our team.
Lifestyle Constructions NQ Pty Ltd commenced operations in January 2007. With over 25 dedicated staff members and apprentices, we have established ourselves as a premier residential construction company in the region. Our expertise ranges from small-scale bathroom and kitchen renovations to complex major projects, particularly excelling in challenging renovations on sloping sites. Lifestyle Constructions NQ has extensive experience achieving completed projects on budget, incident free and ahead of schedule.

We take pride in our quality workmanship and collaborative team approach when working on challenging sites that require top-tier carpentry skills.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

A positive attitude and willingness to adapt

Proven experience as a carpenter in residential & commercial building and construction

Punctual, reliable, clean-cut, and well-presented

Strong understanding of WHS (Workplace Health and Safety) and on-site safety

Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of pride in their work

Excellent physical fitness

Current driver’s license and own reliable transport

Construction White Card

Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team

High level of professionalism and maturity in accepting responsibility

Strong communication skills to maintain effective relationships with contractors, fellow employees, and customers

Willingness to report directly to the Project Co-ordinator and work in the Building Construction and Maintenance areas of the business

Ability to work across multiple worksites and provide support to the team

Wanting career growth potential, long term employment including the chance to upskill and transition into a site supervisor role

The successful applicant must have:

Practical experience in all aspects of residential building and carpentry

Strong motivation, punctuality, and reliability with a positive attitude

Valid QLD Driver’s License and Construction White Card

Problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a team

Ability to complete all tasks required for the job

Additional Details:

Looking for in town carpenters - Working in Townsville

Looking for out of town carpenters

Remote site work includes a 10 days on / 4 days off roster

All transportation, meals, accommodation, and equipment provided for remote site work

Above-award wages, with overtime for remote site work
