CO.AS.IT. – Italian Assistance Association has operated in Australia since 1968 as a charitable institution, strongly committed to the general well-being and the enhancement of the quality of life of the Italian Australian community. We aim to achieve the full potential of our community through the delivery of culturally appropriate services and the promotion of the Italian language, culture, and heritage. We engage and empower the Italian Australian community by delivering best practice services and programs in the aged care, education, culture, and heritage sectors.

Role Overview:

The Office Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support and customer service to team members at our Niddrie office. This position serves as the initial point of contact for callers and visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment. The Office Coordinator works closely with the General Manager and site Managers to ensure effective office operations through efficient coordination of administration, business activities, and maintaining a safe and functional work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Coordinate office calendars, schedule meetings, and manage email correspondence.

· Greet visitors, provide assistance, and direct them to appropriate departments.

· Maintain organized physical and digital file systems.

· Monitor and replenish office supplies within budget constraints.

· Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensuring timely distribution.

· Assist in planning and executing internal and external meetings or events.

· Provide administrative support to various teams and programs located at Niddrie

· Oversee office repairs and maintenance by submitting necessary work orders.

We require an individual with:

· Experience as an office coordinator or similar role.

· Proficiency in MS Office and management software.

· Strong organisational and time management skills.

· Ability to multitask and manage projects.

· Project planning, execution, and oversight experience.

· Discretion and confidentiality.

· Excellent verbal and written communication.

· Good interpersonal skills with colleagues and visitors.

· Flexibility for changing priorities and situations.
