About the Job

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to drive sales growth within the mining equipment sector. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling undercarriage products and services for heavy mining equipment. Your focus will be on developing strong relationships with key clients, implementing strategic sales plans to boost revenue, and expanding our client's presence in the mining industry.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a range of leading equipment, including CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi and Liebherr models. You will play a key part in forecasting customer inventory requirements, ensuring timely delivery, and providing exceptional support to help clients minimise downtime and maximise productivity.

As a Business Development Manager, you will:

  • Drive the sale of undercarriage products for heavy mining equipment.
  • Develop and implement growth strategies to expand market reach.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customer accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to forecast customer inventory requirements.
  • Stay informed on industry trends to identify opportunities and potential threats.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in business development or sales within the mining or heavy equipment industry.
  • Strong knowledge of earthmoving products.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and research abilities.
  • A Class C Driver’s Licence.
  • A competitive salary package comprising of a base of c. $120k - $150k + incentives (c. $20k+) & vehicle will be offered to the successful applicant.
