With a national footprint and an expanding customer base, we are seeking a driven and experienced Sales & Business Development Manager to help lead the next phase of our growth.
This role is based at our Perth City office – full training and support is provided.
The Role
As the Sales & Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in growing our B2B customer base nationally. This role requires someone who thrives on building relationships, identifying opportunities, and driving new business.
You will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle — from prospecting to closing — while also stepping in to support day-to-day sales operations and customer service during peak periods.
This position reports to the Sales & Operations Manager and works closely with our sales and administration team.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and acquire new B2B customers through proactive outreach and lead generation
Develop strong relationships with clients across a range of industries
Make outbound sales calls, send follow-up emails, and attend client meetings where required
Respond to sales enquiries and prepare tailored quotes and proposals
Identify and pursue tender opportunities, projects, and key commercial accounts
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate orders, deliveries, and customer service
Maintain accurate reporting of lead activity and sales performance
Assist in the preparation of commercial proposals and tender documentation
Contribute to the ongoing development of sales strategies and customer engagement initiatives
Expected to contribute to meaningful new business acquisition monthly
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who brings energy, initiative, and a proven ability to drive results in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
You will ideally have:
2-5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management
Background in construction, insulation, packaging, wholesale, or similar industries
Strong communication and negotiation skills with a consultative approach to selling
Confidence in cold calling, lead generation, and client engagement
Experience in quoting, pricing, or working with product-based solutions
Proficiency in CRMs and office tools like Word and Excel
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and hit the ground running
A proactive mindset and willingness to represent the brand confidently
