Benefits:

• Pay: $ 65-85 per hour + 11.5% super
• Location: Brisbane & surrounding areas
• 2 days from home
• Start date: ASAP
• Contract length: Anything from 6 weeks - 12 months
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week

The role will be focusing on these areas:

• Provide high quality policy and strategic advice on industrial relations matters, including matters arising under the Industrial Relations Act 2016, awards, Office of the Queensland Ombudsman Certified Agreement, Ministerial directives, circulars, guidance notes, and policies.
• Understanding the steps involved in developing a new enterprise bargaining
• Providing advice to senior management on workforce relations issues
• Influencing and gaining agreement from multiple stakeholders
• Support the negotiation, development, and implementation of enterprise bargaining agreements for all employee groups, including engaging with relevant unions/employee representatives, under the direction of the HR Manager.
• Provide expert advice to senior management of the Office of the Queensland Ombudsman on workforce relations issues with an emphasis on the management of complex employee cases.
