Employee Relations Advisor

• Location: Brisbane - open to candidates in Sydney
• Pay Rate: $490 per day + Super
• Assignment Length: Anticipated until 30th August 2025 with potential to extend
• Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
  

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our client's HR Advisory team. This role sits within a team managing complex ER cases across Aviation, Refinery, Terminals, and Corporate business units, requiring strong stakeholder engagement and technical expertise in employment regulations and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Case Management – Manage complex employee relations cases, including investigations, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
• Project Work – Support and contribute to ER-related projects.
• Continuous Improvement – Identify and implement process improvements in ER functions.
• Compliance & Regulation – Ensure adherence to employment laws, industrial instruments, and internal policies.
• Stakeholder Engagement – Work closely with HR Business Partners, operational leaders, and unions on ER matters.

What We’re Looking For:

Must Haves:

• Approx. 3-4 years' demonstrated experience in Employee Relations
• Strong end-to-end case management experience, including investigations and grievances.
• Technical expertise in employment regulations, compliance, and industrial instruments.
• Proven ability to manage complex ER matters and engage with a range of stakeholders.
• Experience in blue-collar industries and working with unions.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience in enterprise bargaining.
