Public Sector People are working with a government organisation in Brisbane CBD, who are seeking an experienced Human Resource Advisor/BP on a 3 month Temp contract with opportunity to go direct with the client afterwards and apply for the permanent position within the Team.

As the HR Advisor, you will provide HR administration support, advice and coordination to support the delivery of workforce services, programs and initiatives within the business, and customer focused outcomes.

You will support and influence outcomes across the National Injury Insurance Agency, Queensland (NIISQ Agency), Motor Accident Insurance Commission (MAIC) and Nominal Defendant (ND), collectively referred to as the Motor Accident Insurance Schemes Queensland (or MAIS-Q).

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Provide generalist HR information and advice to support employees and leaders within the business, with a particular focus on recruitment, candidate care, remuneration benefits and entitlements, and associated policies and procedures.
• Manage the team inbox and respond to a range of requests and enquiries; allocate tasks for appropriate action by team members; identify and escalate urgent or sensitive matters for attention of a more senior officer.
• Assist leaders to confidently access and engage with HR and payroll related information, processes, tools, forms and timeframes to deliver excellent client service and employee experience outcomes.

About you:

• A solid human resource generalist with experience in providing advice on workforce management policies and practices, coordinating recruitment, and analysis of workforce data.
• Experience in working in a Human resources business partnership approach, including advising, coaching, and facilitating.
• Great interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with an emphasis on stakeholder engagement and experience in preparing and reviewing workforce business cases.
