Laikon Delicatessen is a 3rd generation family business operating since 1976. We are not only a Deli, but café, wine bar, event space and catering business. We serve to provide our customers with the best hand-picked products that we stand behind in terms of their quality, taste and ingredients.

We are on the hunt for an experienced, passionate Chef who cares about their job and takes full responsibility of their kitchen. You will directly oversee the daily operations of the kitchen including costings, menu development, stock inventory, ordering and team morale. You will work hand in hand with the Deli Manager and Café Manager to ensure cohesion between all departments within the business.

5 days available with weekends essential and 2 days off during the week.

Hours are 6am til 3pm.

What you possess:

Have experience within an a la carte and breakfast environment

Have experience managing and supporting a team (desirable but not essential)

Have a passion for food and innovative design, coupled with a strong work ethic; taking pride in the quality and consistency of the food you and your team produce

Professional and proactive approach with a willingness to learn

Comply with, and enforce hygiene regulations and safety standards

Friendly personality and immaculate presentation
