Join our team – a café in the main street in Mornington, known for breakfasts, and warm atmosphere. We are seeking experienced and superstar Chefs to join our team. This position requires passion for food & service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and execute high-quality breakfast and brunch dishes with consistency

Maintain a clean, well-organized, and hygienic kitchen at all times

Work independently in the kitchen, with support from a kitchen assistant on weekends

Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene standards

Food preparation including chopping, cooking, and ensuring high- quality dishes.

Recipe development, creating new dishes or modifying existing ones.

Kitchen management overseeing staff, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards.

Quality control insuring dishes meet cafe standards in taste and presentation.

Training and development of kitchen staff.

Cost control minimizing and optimizing portion sizes.

Record production and operational data on specified forms.

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 3 years of experience in a café or similar kitchen environment

Solid skills in breakfast and brunch cooking .

Ability to work independently and handle service solo when needed

Strong focus on cleanliness and kitchen hygiene – non-negotiable

Positive attitude, willingness to learn and grow with the business
