Role Overview:
This Role is to oversee and co-ordinate site aspects of joinery projects. This role involves liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards. To fulfil the role, you will be aided with the Knowledge of the company structure, companies’ equipment to fulfil your role and education required with our software and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Coordination: Develop and manage project timelines and trade resources.
Client Liaison: Communicate with clients to understand their requirements, provide updates, and address concerns. (Site final measures and site visits when required.)
Team Management: Organize and schedule trades to complete projects. (our installers typically don’t require supervision on installations, but communication on schedule)
Quality Control: Ensure all joinery work meets design specifications, industry standards, and company quality benchmarks. (this will be done by site visits and final checks)
Procurement : Source materials, manage supplier relationships, and oversee deliveries.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to safety regulations and company policies. (Safety paperwork and inductions are done by installing crew.)
Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues that may arise during project execution. (Any problems or issues that you find or notice, we would like to improve our systems to better suit the market or needs of everyone)
Quoting selected jobs: As Fraser Coast Joinery increases growth and develops, you will be given a chance to quote up jobs. This is done by using 3 D Drawing software - previous skills in this domain is extremely desirable
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate project records, reports, and progress updates. Sign off documents will need to be filled out after every project. (We have introduction software that will help when reporting job completion.)
Key Skills & Experience:
Proven experience within the joinery, cabinetry, and construction industry.
Strong knowledge of joinery techniques, materials, and installation processes.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
Proficiency in project management software (or willing to learn).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and health & safety standards.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
Work Environment:
Site and office based with availability
Interaction with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Occasional travel may be required.
What Fraser Coast Joinery will offer
- 36 – 38-hour week
- Monday to Friday
- $90 000 PA (Paid weekly)
